An opportunity to clap, play and sing (dancing optional) and gain confidence in reading and performing rhythm
Do you feel stuck, thinking you are “bad at timing”?
Do you feel frustrated every time you play with others and stumble over those black dots on your paper – especially, if the notes have a lot of beams or tails, too?
If so, join us for a 3-week course (3 sessions of 2 hours each) to brush up your knowledge, start trusting the beat and finding your groove.

YOU’VE GOT RHYTHM! – all you need to know:
This is an ONLINE course (Zoom). This course is not suitable for absolute beginners. The course IS suitable for everyone else who is using sheet music to learn their repertoire.
Participants should be 18 or over. It is possible for a parent or guardian to sign up their child aged 16/17, in which case parental consent is given through enrolment.
PLEASE NOTE:
Handouts will be e-mailed prior to the first class. Zoom links will be sent a day before the next upcoming session.

By enrolling, all participants agree to the video-recording of the sessions held on Zoom. The video will only be sold to members of the workshop who ordered it and will not be published otherwise – redistribution of the video by participants is not permitted.
THIS COURSE WILL ONLY BE OFFERED IF A MINIMUM OF THREE ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS SIGN UP – there is a maximum of five places for active participants.

Format
45 mins to 1 hour
Talk on methods with demonstration and exercises for all participants – including a short Q&A.
1 hour to 1 hour 15 mins
“Masterclass’ – active participants present a passage of their repertoire and methods are put into action – 15 -20 mins each, depending on numbers.
Every participant receives a set of handouts.

1) Listening to talks and the masterclasses, participation in group activities and the opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A sessions.
