The programme will feature:
Sonatina Jeux d’eau (Water games) Mirroirs (Mirrors)
Maurice Ravel is most famous for his “Bolero” for orchestra. I won’t be able to offer the original version for symphony orchestra, but there is a beautiful piano version (arr. Roger Branga) that will be part of the programme.
Ravel’s piano music has many facettes and ranges from dreamy, almost meditative moods to humorous and energetic brilliance. I hope that this concert will take you on a wonderful journey of imagery and excitement!
